Darrius – Seattle, WA
A local legend in every way, Darrius is a big reason the Northwest dance music scene is where it is at today. Although he wasn’t born here, Darrius is Northwest through-and-through, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s performed throughout the country, and we’re lucky he chooses to call the PNW home. His brand of progressive tunes will always keep us interested, and his ability to read a crowd sets him apart from the rest. He does a ton of work behind the scenes, and we’re glad we get to see him play at one of our favorite festivals of the year.
DJ KAII – Honolulu, HI
Bringing the House from Hawaii, DJ KAII (aka Kaiyo Iwamoto) doesn’t discriminate when it comes to good House music. Enjoying and playing everything from Tech House, Disco House, Future House, and whatever other really creative two-word phrasings of House music exist, DJ KAII is the type of artist every festival needs. Bringing talent from throughout the Northwest, and beyond, is important for festivals like Paradiso and companies like USC Events, and DJ KAII is a perfect fit.

Johnny Monsoon – Seattle, WA
Another local legend who needs very little introduction to many Northwest dance music fans, Johnny Monsoon is everything a NW fan-favorite can be. Working with the Seattle Trance Family, and doing so much more behind the scenes of the local dance music community, we all owe Johnny Monsoon and others like him a huge thank you. What better way to say thanks, than by enjoying his set and yelling it in-person at Paradiso this summer? He’s come up clutch when we needed him most, and we’re pumped for his return to Paradiso.
We love our locals, and we know you do too. Keep up with our local artists with our DJ Database, and check out where our locals are playing next with the Club Hub! Let us know which locals you’re most excited to see at Paradiso this summer by commenting below, on Facebook, or replying on Twitter!
