A short time ago, we reported that Mat Zo announced that he would be creating his own label. Well the wait is over. Mat Zo has created a Mad Zoo label. Mat is being backed by Anjunabeats in the creation of his new label tweeting “I’m having a baby with @anjunabeats. I’m gonna be a good daddy.”

The new label has not announced any artists on the label as of yet. Mad Zoo records will be accepting demos from all artists right now, but only accepting truly talented producers and DJ’s.

Mat is also looking to shake things up by having the label not take a cut of royalties. How this business model is going to work, we are not sure. But it will have something to do with subscriptions.

The labels musical direction is unclear right now, but if you know anything about Mat Zo, then you know it will not focus on any particular genre.
