If it’s one thing we’ve learned about 2013, it’s that big room house is very much alive. Whether it’s annoying, saturated, or filling up every music festival you attend… it’s alive. 17 year old Martin Garrix made a statement with his first hit single “Animals” and followed up quickly on a collaboration entitled “Wizards” with Jay Hardway but the energy wasn’t there.
This time around he’s released a brand new super Dutch infused track called “Proxy”. We’d give the same spiel that every other music blog will about the “stabbing synths”, “melodic builds” and “smashing drops” but we’ll just let you listen for yourself. We’ll just say this should have been the follow up to “Animals”.
