17 year old breakout Dutch producer Martin Garrix made his debut residency on BBC Radio 1 last Thursday, joining the ranks of such big names as Steve Angello and Brodinski. Currently under the esteemed Spinnin’ Records umbrella, Martin has already had an incredibly eventful year with Ultra Miami and Coachella, the two biggest shows of his career thus far. Unlike his set from Coachella, we were pleasantly taken by surprise when he started off his set with some of his favorite house tracks of the moment, including The Mechanism by Disclosure & Friends Within, as well as ridiculously infectious Theres A Place (Sunset Dub) by Arches – definitely a gem to add to your playlists.
Early into the mix, Garrix switches things up with one of his latest collaborative works, Gold Skies, a team effort with Sander van Doorn and DVBBS, continuing to raise the tempo with Tremor with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Stay tuned on BBC Radio 1’s residency every Thursday to hear more from Martin Garrix and enjoy his set below!
