[label style=”1″]Candyland[/label]
One of the top dubstep acts in dance music today, Californian duo Candyland is one of the most exciting artists to see on the phase two lineup announcement. Ethan Davis and Josie Martin know how to create high energy tracks with heavy bass that will have everyone within earshot of their set getting down.

Although they are fantastic at dubstep remixes, that isn’t the only genre of music Candyland specializes in. Ranging from electro-house and trap to drum and bass, a blend of diversity is prevalent in their tunes. Candyland has been in the Northwest recently, as support with Seven Lions for Krewella on their ‘Get Wet Tour’ in the fall of 2013. Catching Candyland at Lucky 2014 won’t be a disappointment for those who have, and those who have not, been able to witness the duo live.

[label style=”1″]Kill Paris[/label]
The other half of the ‘Killer Fro Tour’, Kill Paris, will be also be featuring at Lucky 2014. Also known as Corey Baker, Kill Paris is one of a number of young producers who are blurring traditional genre lines and evolving dance music. A member of the famed OWSLA record label, Kill Paris proved he was worthy of such a label in 2013. Playing all over North America, Kill Paris performed at Electric Zoo and Shambhala, while even making time to stop in Seattle last May.

Playing a self-described ‘future-funk’, Kill Paris’s style can certainly be phrased that way. Combining classic disco and funk sounds with glitchy, dubstep, and electro-house sounds more heard today, Kill Paris knows how to mix elements of varying styles into a flowing masterpiece. One of several great young acts at Lucky 2014, don’t miss the chance to get down to one of dance music’s rising artists.
