The closing act at Lucky 2013, Showtek makes their valiant return to the Northwest. The Dutch duo exploded in 2013, transitioning from their traditional hardstyle ways to electro-house. They’ve made that transition look easy and dominated the Beatport Top 10 last year. Brothers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen had tracks like Cannonball, Get Loose, and Booyah all over the most listened to podcasts and played live at shows all year.
Showtek is keeping their momentum going and started 2014 by releasing another track in everyone’s mix, We Like to Party. The duo enjoyed their success and built on it last year, touring all over the world and playing at more than a few big-time festivals. Some may be clamoring for Showtek to return to their FTS ways, but if last recent success is any indicator, they will once again be one of the top sets at Lucky 2014.
