Taking the headlines with the phase two lineup announcement, Mad Decent label boss Diplo packs the punch for Lucky 2014. The ridiculously diverse producer has a lot going on. Running his label, releasing EPs, producing radio shows, and creating new tunes with side-projects Major Lazer and Jack U are just some of what Diplo is up to. Getting a chance to see Diplo in the midst of his rise to the top of dance music is a gift many will be taking advantage of at Lucky.
Coming off of his Revolution EP and its remixes, both of which were released last year, Diplo has had a tour heavy start to 2014. Playing at Holy Ship in Miami and with Arcade Fire in Australia last month, Diplo will follow up his Lucky appearance with a set at Ultra Music Festival 2014. There will be tons of people enjoying the B2B set between Diplo and DJ Snake, so if you plan on doing so, get your spot early.

Grammy nominated Frenchman DJ Snake is the other half of the extraordinary B2B set with Diplo. DJ Snake’s most successful releases to date are Turn Down for What and Bird Machine. They have set up 2014 to be the biggest year yet for DJ Snake. Thus far he has released a collab with Dillon Francis, Get Low, and has another with Diplo, which he debuted on his BBC One Essential Mix two weeks ago.

DJ Snake joins other trap-tastic artists such as Diplo, Carnage, and Bro Safari at Lucky 2014. His last visit to the Northwest was joining Excision and Chuckie at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, Wash. last September. Even if you were able to catch him then, missing out on his B2B set with Diplo isn’t advisable. Make sure you get your spot early for the main event of Lucky 2014.
