MTBTZ are a local Seattle music group composed of Scott Mo, Matt R and Jaderade. The trio have been pumping out mixes on SoundCloud and performing at shows for well over a year now, set apart from other music artists by their stunning visuals at live shows. This year though they are coming out with their debut EP, entitled G-Pit. Their style fuses house with some heavy bass lines and covers genres in between.
The single for their debut 7-track EP is On My Mind and it’s out now on SoundCloud, punctuated by kicking bass lines andfunky house vibes. Outside of standout track Turn Me Up, the rest of the EP features some electro, bass, and a bit of trap sounds as well. The EP shows MTBTZ is not afraid to blend genres and spices things up. This is refreshing, especially when big name artists are releasing generic pop tracks and albums.
