We love supporting our local artists, and with the bountiful amounts of quality producers and DJs throughout the region, there’s a lot to love. This week we’re treated to another local takeover at one of our favorite venues. Two of the top Northwest artists of 2016 are going b2b, when collaborators Levitate and Justin Hartinger headline one of our favorite weekly-nights, SUBstance Wednesdays at Foundation Nightclub this week.
The duo released one of our favorite works of the year, the Darknet EP, earlier this year, and both have continued a steady work-rate. On top of the collaboration effort, Levitate recently released another collaboration EP, and released two singles this year. One of those singles, Level Up, is Levitate’s second collaboration with bass music titan Bassnectar, and featured on the legend’s latest album. Hartinger has released several singles in addition to the Darknet EP, and his own solo work, the Reminders EP this year.
Northwest-favorites Mykzilla, Qreepz, Cløve, and Saucey will join Levitate and Hartinger, with Qreepz and Cløve also going b2b. The show is also free to those over the age of 21 with a valid student ID, with doors opening at 10 p.m. More info is available via the official Facebook event page here.
