When Lane 8 graduated from Anjunadeep, he started his own label built behind a “no video or photo” rule. The idea of the This Never Happened label is for concertgoers to live in the moment, and for people and shows to be as joyful as ever.
Lane 8’s Brightest Lights album tour is set to be the biggest This Never Happened event in the label’s three year history. Check out what Lane 8 said on social media when he refreshed everyone about the rules. The Brightest Lights tour started out in Boston on January 31, and will soon head to Portland, Seattle and Vancouver from February 20-22.

You can find the complete mission statement from This Never Happened on their website. On that very website Lane 8 talks the special moments that actually do happen at This Never Happened curated events.
“This experience we share together may, by today’s standards, have never happened. But those who dare will always know – something special did happen here,” he stated.
Read what we had to say about Lane 8’s third studio album. Next listen and develop your own opinion about the Brightest Lights. Lane 8 sold out Portland, Seattle and Vancouver 2+ months before the show. We are counting down the days until this special night with all our friends.
