Sometimes the interwebz can be brutally honest. Recent case in point? Sasquatch 2017’s lineup reveal. “Garbage”. “Disappointed”. “Nope”. At the stroke of midnight on Monday morning, Sasquatch Music Festival revealed its highly anticipated 2017 lineup. The reaction? Definitely less than favorable. Comments, like the ones listed above, can be found on the event’s Facebook page– some more, errr, “passionate” than others as mixed emotions continue to pour in.
Headlined by Twenty One Pilots, Frank Ocean and Chance the Rapper, this year’s festival features a roster that isn’t as star-studded as years past. This lineup also gives the boot to electronic dance music. Aside from Phantogram and Big Gigantic, there are no eye-popping EDM acts, a contrast to previous editions which featured the likes of Major Lazer, Flume, Steve Aoki and Disclosure, just to name a few.
Three-day general admission tickets to this Memorial Day Weekend extravaganza at the Gorge go on sale this Saturday at 10 AM PST and start at a cool $295, before shipping. Camping will have to be purchased separately. Full ticketing and event information can be here.
