Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, the sisterly duo that comprises the band Krewella, have finally announced their next album! Krewella’s sophomore album will be titled Zer0 and has a release date of January 31st. After several EP’s and a plethora of singles over the years, this will be their first full-length album since Get Wet in 2013.
Also to be noted is that this will be their first album since the original third member of the group, Kris Trindl (a.k.a. Rain Man), left Krewella in 2014.
The announcement comes alongside the release of a new single called Good On You with production from Indian producer Nucleya. Good On You plays on the middle-eastern styles that the sisters of Pakistani heritage have been leaning on lately. It’s a bouncy moombahton house beat that’s been showcased to those lucky enough to catch their overseas live shows as of late.
Two other confirmed album singles that have already been released are Ghost and Mana. Both songs continue the hip-hop and trap-influenced production that the sisters have favored on more than a few previous releases. See the full tracklisting for Zer0 below!
Krewella is an act that you need to see live to understand their passion. Unfortunately, they don’t currently have any North American shows in the pipeline. However, with the announcement of this new album we should expect to see an album tour announced in the near future, so stay tuned!
