Toronto-based electronic music band Keys N Krates announced a new tour, EP, and released a preview of the first single this week. The EP, entitled Every Nite, will be accompanied by ‘Every Nite – The Tour’. The tour will make 38 stops throughout North America, with several show locations still unknown. The minute-long preview of the single, Are We Faded, is a glimpse into the sound and style that Keys N Krates’ fans know and love, and is a great sign for the upcoming EP.
Even though the trio stopped by the Northwest recently at Paradiso 2014, they’ll make stops on the ‘Every Nite’ tour in Seattle, Eugene, and Boise, as well as Whistler, BC (not that we’re complaining).
The Every Nite EP will feature six tracks and will be released on September 23 via Dim Mak Records. It is their first EP since the SOLOW EP, which they released via Dim Mak in September of 2013. The full version of Are We Faded will be released on August 26th. In the interview with Billboard, Keys N Krates’ turntablist Jr. Flo said that the trio got what they wanted with Every Nite.
It’s dark, heavy and emotional, and that’s what we were going for. We love club music, but the best club music has a life at home, too.
