Kaskade And His Six Hour NYE Performance

Kaskade is planning a six-hour set in San Francisco. This will be the third consecutive year he has performed at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium for New Year’s Celebrations. He has opted to play an open to close set. Stretching from doors at 8:00 PM until 2:00 AM. Six hours total.

Since around 2014 Kaskade has played two different live performances. The first is familiar from main stage festivals around the country. While the second is a callback to his music from the turn of the century, nicknamed Redux sets.

For NYE 2018 it is rumored that the 47-year-old will start with his Redux selections. Later in his set he will transition to the high energy Kaskade that we witnessed at the Gorge Amphitheater for Magnifique 2016.

Kaskade fans from around the country are preparing for a historical West Coast Massive. In all of the Chicago Native’s performances, he plays a majority his own music: originals, remixes, and mashups. Thus the never-ending set-time gives him an opportunity to navigate through his nine studio albums.

Kaskade spoke about the difficulty when possessing hundreds of ready to mix songs with only two hours of performance time. Explaining that the NYE marathon show in 2018, “Will be nice. A little less bickering in my head.”

Kaskade’s curated six-hour performance is one of many incredible NYE events around the country. For instance people are anxiously awaiting festivals like Resolution Seattle, Decadence Arizona/Colorado, and OMFG in San Diego. We have hundreds of shows to choose from. As a result Kaskade is ensuring that his curated event is a one of a kind experience. Tickets are available via Kaskade’s Website.
