Justin Jay seems to be on a roll lately. After taking sometime for himself and stepping away for a little bit, his music is stronger than ever. Being enjoyed by fans, and most importantly, himself.
“You’ve got to get in that zone where things are pouring out, you’re not really judging ’em, and you’re just letting things happen. That’s the state I am always trying to get to, and on ‘Cash Money,’ it happened,” he said to Billboard.
This last Friday he released his EP, Cash Money, and that funky feel is perfect. It is rewarding for fans to hear a track that the artist is happy with, and that seems like a lot of Justin Jays music recently.
Along with his EP Justin Jay announced a tour with 2 stops in the Northwest, Portland and Seattle. On August 24 he will be playing at No Vacancy Lounge, and on September 6 he will be in Seattle at Q Nightclub. This will be a great tour to see Justin Jay for the 1st or 5th time.
