One of the hottest trance hits of the entire last year is back in warm winter fashion. Jaytech’s progressive trance original, Labour Of Love, featuring a stunning vocal performance by Nathan Grainger, has been remixed into a rich tech house favorite. And who else to perfect the tech remix other than Jaytech himself. Proving just how massive this track can be in every genre, this remix is yet another example of Jatech’s versatility and talent as a producer and creative thinker. Every finished piece has left us with a “wow” after listening, and for a surprise Christmas treat to his fans, his Labour Of Love was reimagined, breathing fresh, new life into one of our all-time Jaytech faves.

The original mix of Labour Of Love, produced by both Jaytech and fellow Australian buddy Nathan Grainger, was a surprising success considering their struggle to stifle laughs and jokes when they get together. Their studio sessions are more for fun than they are serious, but when they both decided it was time to lay down a proper tune together, the finished piece was, without question, a true Labour Of Love. This progressive trance original was definitely a stunner of the season, and made it onto Jaytech’s most recent album, Multiverse, released by Anjunabeats in August 2012.

The collaboration of these fellow Aussies ignited another track Innovation, which also landed on the album. The dueled effort on Innovation is appropriately titled; A tech-trance hybrid of sorts, with futuristic elements and a sci-fi feel give this track an original style. Jaytech’s 13-track Multiverse album is an eclectic mix of electronic, expanding the musical horizons of what we are used to. His tech house refreshening of Labour Of Love is an extension of his creativity and flexibility as an artist, and it’s difficult to say whether the remix surpasses the original, since both are top-notch in their respected genres. We say: Why choose?
We hope you all had a joyous Holiday season, and we hope you love your belated Christmas present from Jaytech; Available for free download, so you can pass the love along.
