DJ and producer, Jauz, made his way to Seattle to kick off his headling Dangerous Waters tour. On the cold Saturday night in Seattle, Jauz brought a flaming production to the Wamu theatre. Along with the Dangerous Waters tour, he recently just released his Dangerous Waters EP as well.
We had the chance to be the first ones to witness the new production and hear the new set. See below for our review of the show and decide for yourself whether to snag those tickets in a nearby city.
Production
The new production for this tour was the main selling point for us. This tour has one of the biggest productions that the artist has ever had. To say the least, it did not disappoint. The lights, lasers, and visuals were blasting throughout the entire set. Do you want a light show? Done.
The Shark Fin on stage moved around throughout the set, creating a 3D illusion. This was not a normal DJ set like many of us are used to. There was always something moving on stage or lasers shooting throughout the whole venue. You have to see it to experience it.
Music
The show kicked off with PNW favorite, Rhory then with supporting acts DNMO and Habstrakt. The sets were readjusted due to some minor stage issues but for being the first night of the tour, it was bound to happen. All of the supporting acts played uplifting sets and got the crowd ready for Jauz. For an hour and a half, Jauz played bangers after bangers. The crowd was dancing, shuffling and singing along to every single track. The energy in the room was mesmerizing.
Overall
The show was great and everything that we expected. There was not one second during the show that we were bored and lost focus on the show, and that is saying a lot. Do yourself a favor and scope out the following dates below and grab your ticket at the stop near your city. This is not a normal Jauz set that you will see at a festival, this is something bigger and better.
