James Egbert is constantly towing that line between electro and dubstep, oftentimes blending the two seamlessly. His brand of music is singularly amazing, bringing together genres like they were always meant to be that way. He’s here this time around with a remix that embodies this idea all too perfectly.
Naughty Boy’s La La La already received the trance treatment from Maor Levi, but James Egbert’s take guides it in an entirely different direction. Throwing in his signature mix of bass and electro-house, it’s comfortably sways back and forth between both as it jumps smoothly from Sam Smith’s vocals to banging dubby drops.
