Insomniac gets creative with hour-long musical driving experience

Coming in January of 2021, Insomniac is stepping it up in the pandemic entertainment world. Electric Mile is Insomniac’s newest project to keep the fun going while socially distanced, with a “fully immersive, audiovisual drive-thru experience” that will be happening at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, CA.

Attendees will drive through the Electric Mile with some of their favorite tracks playing in the background. If you have been to an Insomniac’s event, you can already guess the astonishing light installations and trippy visual effects that will be there. There will be seven worlds that you will drive through, from EDC to Countdown, where you will experience most of Insomniac’s well-known events in one hour. The whole experience consists of 1.5 miles and around an hour of fun.

“Buckle up, Headliners! We’ve had to get creative to bring happiness to people in different ways. To us, getting people out of the house in a COVID-safe way is really important for mental health and the soul,” said Rotella. “We’re excited for people young and old to come. It’s going to be spectacular whether or not you’ve been to one of our festivals before. It’s in the name of art, and it’s for everyone.” –Pasquale Rotella

Tickets start at $69.99 plus fees per car. You can buy and view all ticket information here.
