Infected Mushroom will be returning to the PNW this spring with an all new stage setup and mind melting live experience. The duo – Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani – have been making genre breaking electronic music since 1996. They paved the way for the Israeli scene, giving way to a multitude of DJs and producers across several genres that call Israel home. Borgore, Maor Levi, and Astrix find their way to the tops of many lists but there are so many more.
As for the duo themselves, their sound has always been in a state of flux. Even in the early days (’96-’04) they oscillated between dancefloor friendly* tracks and totally off the wall experimental music. Rock instrumentation – including vocals – has always had a strong place in their music, and they tend towards the darker, harder side. Still, Infected Mushroom is hard to place in any category. Songs have had elements of trance, drum and bass, hip hop, chillout, dubstep and probably some stuff that doesn’t even have a name. It’s always weird and psychedelic though. Like…really weird. But, good weird!
*If your dancefloor is comprised of galactic unicorns, forest gnomes, and mushroom people.
Their shows have always been an experience.

A one of a kind, rock, rave, what the hell is happening kind of experience. Sometimes they appear with a live band, other times you get an insane stage setup. This time, they are debuting Animatronica, which we were given a sneak peak a couple of days ago. We’re not quite sure what it is yet but it certainly looks unique!

Dude, is that thing gonna eat me? It might, dude, it might.
Surely this is a show not to be missed and nothing we can write will prepare you for the night. They are playing the Showbox in Seattle on April 23rd and in Portland at The Crystal Ballroom on April 25th. Tickets are on sale now, and it will probably sell out. See you on the dancefloor!
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
