What are we doing Memorial Day Weekend here at DMNW? Some will do a hike that ends in a refreshing waterfall, some will be at boat parties, some will have relaxing days by the pool, others will be at the beach. The cherry blossoms are reappearing, the sunsets are starting to get later, local parks teeming with life, hiking and camping season are back in full swing, and there’s just something positively different in the air during this time of the year.
For us, though, it’s Illenium’s epic two-night run at the Gorge that will have our full and undivided attention. Set for Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 19, the show will feature the likes of San Holo, Alan Walker, Dabin, and Flux Pavilion. Illenium is also no stranger to the Pacific Northwest, where he held a similar massive two night run at WAMU in 2019.
Illenium is a Denver based producer and DJ who has simply dominated electronic music since he stepped into the scene. His powerful and celestial electronic sounds, emotional vocals and lyrics, tinges of rock alternative, and driving percussion all earned him a 2022 Grammy Nomination for his most recent album, Fallen Embers.
He is no stranger to taking over large venues, selling out Allegiant Stadium in Vegas, Staples Center in Los Angeles, and his hometown venue, Red Rocks. He captivates his fans, self labeled “Illenials,” with his fully equipped dynamic and cinematic live show.
Illenium’s performances offer an emotional and transformative journey that has created an incredibly strong bond with his fans. Through his bodies of work, Illenium reaches to listeners by providing moments of euphoria and joy while tackling deep subject matters of human experience and emotion. Buy your tickets here and start your EDM summer off with a memorable and unforgettable one.
