Illenium’s third album, Ascend, is set to drop August 16th. While fans are still waiting for a few singles from the Ascend album to be released leading up till then, it appears that there is already something to look forward to after the album’s release later this Summer.
It is no secret that NGHTMRE and Illenium are both monsters in the bass music scene. In fact, fans have been wanting a NGHTMRE and Illenium collaboration for a while, and now they’re finally getting their wish. It all started with a tweet from @KennTheSky, which quickly sparked tweets in response from both producers. Check out the thread below:

Despite being unofficial, the exchange between the two hints that the collaboration is as good as confirmed.
Until then, both Illenium and NGHTMRE seem to have busy schedules for the rest of this year. For Illenium, aside from his upcoming album, he also has his first-ever headline show at Madison Square Garden, which is a momentous accomplishment in his music career. He will also celebrate Thanksgiving in Seattle with TWO shows at the WaMu.
NGHTMRE has been busy with collaborations, dipping into his trap side by collaborating with A$AP Ferg and Lil Jon. He is also set to co-headline a tour alongside SLANDER, Seven Lions and The Glitch Mob- which will include a stop at at The Gorge!
