Hodor temporarily leaves the service of House Stark for the newest Iron Throne contender, House Future. Northern Irish DJ turned actor Kristian Nairn just dropped a new original track, Beacon. It is an instrumental future house song with a unique beat and a funky melody. It’s upbeat and builds momentum as you listen, becoming more and more infectious with every click of the replay button.
In an interview with winteriscoming.net, Nairn self-proclaims his musical style to be “chunky, deep, dark” and “always with attitude,” and it definitely shows in this track. He also stated that he had (and still has) dreams of becoming a guitar player, which he claims to be fairly proficient in, and the musical sensibility in Beacon may stem from his love for the instrument.
Nairn used his season off from Game of Thrones to tour the US in a series of DJ acts he called “Rave of Thrones.” RoT wrapped up in December of last year and although GoT fans want Hodor back on the show, EDM fans may want to hear more songs like Beacon live.
