That’s right, you read correctly, a Headhunterz and W&W collaboration. It’s a real Shocker… No, really, it’s called Shocker! If you tuned in to W&W’s set during EDC, you would have heard the first glimpse we got of the upcoming track. Don’t fret if you missed it, that’s what we’re here to tell you, there’s an official video preview now available to view on the Armada YouTube Channel! Although the exciting preview only lasts a mere minute and a half, we hear banter that the full release will be sometime this summer.
From what we can hear so far, Shocker has audible and distinctive elements from both parties. Big Room hyphy sound like we’d expect from W&W, but with a grimey, subliminal Headhunterz zest. Now before you say, “Wait, so its distinctive, audible, and subliminal, what?”, just hear us out. If you’re listening to pick out the elements within, you’re going to notice Headhunterz’ contribution. Rewind it back now, and wipe your mind clean, don’t assign any artists to the track. It sounds like a new and interesting style, right? Keep listening, this exhilarating preview of Shocker is all we got for now.
