In the latest of Insomniac’s string of giant one-day festival events, today the event company announced the return of HARD to the Pacific Northwest with Hard PNW. On March 19, 2022, some of the biggest names in EDM will make their way to the Tacoma Dome for the stacked event. Complete with two stages and what’s sure to be top-tier Insomniac production, HARD PNW will likely be one to remember.
Hard PNW lineup brings bass and house to Tacoma
HARD PNW’s lineup features trap kingpins RL Grime b2b Baaeur, Kayzo, JOYRYDE, Wax Motif, VNSSA, Born Dirty, and PNW native Juelz. Other up-and-coming performing artists include Cappozi, Subset, Graymatter, and Jesse Leer. Primarily a bass and house lineup, the diverse artist roster will attract many throughout the region and others looking for a springtime festival event.
We’ve been waiting for the return of RL Grime to our region for quite some time. Earlier this year, the highly anticipated RL Grime b2b Baauer debut took the flagship HARD Summer Southern California by storm. Another notable crowd favorite, JOYRYDE, will return to the PNW since before his highly-acclaimed debut album, Brave, in April 2020.
In the early 2010’s, before it was owned by Insomniac, HARD was a traveling tour of primarily dance music artists featuring a day-long HARD Summer Fest. During their early years in 2011, Portland and Seattle both saw a stop. After the brand was acquired by Live Nation and Insomniac Events, the event pivoted solely to a summer festival.
Tickets for HARD PNW go on sale this Friday, December 17th. Grab a GA or VIP ticket for you and your friends for the first run of the Tacoma-based show!
