One word to describe Lucky 2017’s lineup? Stacked.. And that’s without an actual headliner! The missing piece will be announced at a future date, according to USC Events, leaving everyone to ask one question: who could it be!? With no real hints to work with, we take a look at some realistic possibilities:
DJ Snake
This French hit maker owes the Seattle area a show after not showing for Bumbershoot 2016 ,right? Right?! Scheduled to appear at Ultra this year, Lucky would be a good Miami Music Week warm-up. A win-win for artist and fans if you ask us!
The Chainsmokers
Alex Pall and Drew Taggert, the Chainsmokers, are no strangers to the Pacific Northwest. They played at Lucky 2015 and last year at Paradiso. Arguably one of the hottest names in music, following a massive 2016, the Chainsmokers have evolved into headline-worthy material. Recently, they landed a residency at XS Nightclub in Vegas. On March 10th, they have a show there. Lucky is the following evening, and Sea-Tac is a short flight away. Just sayin’.
Tiesto
When it comes to familiar celebrity faces here in the Pacific Northwest, Tiesto ranks near the top of the list. It feels like he’s always playing here! After headlining Mad Decent Block Party 2016: Eugene, you can bet this Dutch legend will make his now yearly PNW appearance at some point in 2017. Although he’s scheduled to perform in Washington D.C. the night before, there’s a slot waiting for him at Lucky if he wants it!
Alesso, Afrojack and Calvin Harris
These three main-event worthy artists have performed at a USC event in recent years and will be on west coast soil around Lucky time, based on current tour schedules.
Tickets to Lucky 2017 are currently on sale. Who do you think the surprise headliner is? Leave a comment with your best guess!
