So let’s get to the nitty-gritty details. First of all, pay heed to the attendance cap and buy your ticket early. The event will run from 3-10pm on April 25th in downtown Boise. Be on the lookout for a more detailed schedule including artist meet & greets as well as afterhours announcements.
Consider bringing earplugs since 80,000 watts of L Acoustic sound (the same systems they use at the main stage at Coachella) will be making an auditory appearance, and prepare for some Kodak moments with Sensebellum’s interactive “Sandbox of Life” art installation and 3D projection cubes. Food and free water will be offered all evening in addition to a beer garden for those 21 & up. Following in the footsteps of “leave no trace” festivals such as Idaho’s own Esthetic Evolution, a Green Clean crew will be on-site striving to make Gravity a 100% waste-free event.
Boise, below is your first headliner announcement for Gravity, the only city- and county-approved outdoor “electronic music experience” to date:
Gravity is still looking for volunteers. Please email Eric Harris at info@gravity.com if you’re interested.
Though Knowledge Records and BIG Entertainment did not claim to be singled out by the city, public biases against EDM genres occur on a nationwide level – the Gravity team would like to point out that you can report incidents of electronic music profiling by law enforcement to the ACLU.
