Another week of the pandemic, another week of more music festivals getting canceled. Amidst the sadness, and frustrations, amongst electronic dance music fans comes a way of escape: virtual music festivals.
The rise of COVID-19 has also lead to the rise of these multi-day, online, musical affairs. And they only keep on getting bigger and bigger. Global Dance Digital Festival is the latest to enter a suddenly crowded virtual landscape, announcing a huge lineup with some of your favorites!
Global Dance Festival is a festival in Colorado. With the 2020 edition facing cancellation, the folks behind the scenes are bringing the show to your living room! Taking place Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th, Global Dance Digital Festival will be streamed live on Twitch. On top of that, 100% of the donations will go toward the Direct Relief’s charity fund.
Global Digital features a wealth of dance music’s up-and-comers, to include heavy-hitters like Big Gigantic, Crankdat, Wuki and Sullivan King. Adding a little Northwest flavor is Kendoll, who will have you busting out those shuffling shoes in no time. Take a look at the current lineup below, with more names to be announced!
