If you call yourself a fan of deep dubstep and yet missed Truth destroy the Wreckage at Paradiso 2014, now is your chance to redeem yourself. Thanks to the collaboration of Tom Kha and Brinkage, Truth returns to the Northwest this Saturday, September 12 at Re-Bar Seattle.
Hailing from New Zealand, the duo comprised of Andre Fernandez and Tristan Roake have been a relentless force in dubstep since 2006. Their latest EP The Ark released last spring on Firepower Records exemplifies their unique sound best summed up in the three words, “deep, dark, and dangerous.” Attendees on Saturday night can expect to hear sounds ranging from classic dubstep to drum and bass to the deepest of the bowels of dubstep ever known.
Doors open at 10 p.m. for all our 21+ friends and features support from local favorites Innit, Dubtek, and more. At only $15 including fees, this show is a bonafide steal. But be sure to purchase tickets as soon as possible as the discount online presales are limited. You can also enter for chance to win a pair of tickets here.
