Bring on the Bounce
With the crowd all warmed up and begging for more, Will Sparks hit the decks and got the party bouncing (literally). The 22 year old, Aussie brought his signature Melbourne Bounce back the the Coliseum for a second year at Get Together. He immediately whipped up a solid rhythm to get everyone on their feet. As the set progressed we were hit with track after track which eventually reached a climax with a remix of Deadmau5’s – Stay. The timing couldn’t have been better as you could hear the crowd singing along with Colleen D’agostino. Sparks began to bring his set to close and we prepared for Sander Van Doorn to take the stage.
For anyone who has seen Sander Van Doorn in the past they’ll tell you his set can vary from each you see him. The Dutch native has such a versatile style thats he’s easily able to play to the crowd and thats exactly what he did. Beginning his set off nearly right were Sparks left off, SVD wasted almost no time to continue the momentum into the night. He kept to the House vibes and eventually transitioned to a deeper vibe midway through. The final 15 or so minutes we met with the welcome sound of Trance, an obvious warm up of whats to come. Sander closed out his set and then the chanting began…ARMIN, ARMIN, ARMIN!
