We are only a few months into the new year, but Armin van Buuren is busier than ever, with new music and his world tour. Having the first Gaia live performance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami just last year, he wasted no time in reviving Rising Star, his other moniker. Gaia is a duo, comprised of Armin van Buuren and his studio partner Benno de Goeij. Together, they have produced trance tracks that have been about a pure trance experience. With Armin arguably having a more mainstream or modern EDM sound, the talented Dutch producer has been hard at working as Gaia, giving trance fans the spirit and sound of the genre that they’ve yearned for in recent years.
His latest track under Gaia is called Carnation, and it’s definitely a must-listen. Having tweaked the track based on the reactions of the audience, he finally released it on his world famous A State of Trance radio show. It starts off with a classic, old school sound and quickly turns up the energy, almost sounding like a contender for an anthem for one of his earlier ASOT world tours. It’s pure unadulterated trance bliss, and easily recognizable to any fan of the Armada label. Take a listen and let us know what you think, you can reach us on Facebook and Twitter.
