Experimental bass wizard G Jones just dropped a new track called Dark Artifact, and it’s everything we hoped for! The new track comes ahead of his next EP Tangential Zones, which doesn’t currently have a release date. G Jones considers the upcoming EP to be the epilogue to The Ineffable Truth, his groundbreaking album released last year.
Dark Artifact definitely plays like a natural extension to The Ineffable Truth. Its enigmatic tone, deep basslines, and techno-futuristic synth work are reminiscent of his signature production over the last couple of years. The release of new music from G Jones is especially exciting for us considering his upcoming stop in Portland this Halloween! The show is currently sold out, but tickets may be available from fans selling tickets elsewhere online. He’s also performing at Contact music festival in Vancouver, Canada this December. This would be another great opportunity for Pacific Northwest fans to see him perform and possibly hear his new EP live after its released!
