The Funk Hunters announced that their “Funk the Halls” tour will be returning for its 17th iteration in 2022. Festival season is done now; what better way than the annual holiday funk-fest to keep away those winter blues?
Funk The Halls Tour kicks off at the Capital Ballroom in Victoria on December 2nd & 3rd with three special guests. The first night will feature Shambhala-favorite Smalltown DJs and Vancouver-based DJ and filmmaker Civilian. The second night will have Smalltown DJs back on stage, this time joined by Vancouver Island duo LIINKS. It’s worth noting that LIINKS is signed to the Funk Hunter’s label Westwood Recordings. Additionally, they were one of the artists featured on The Funk Hunter’s debut album Typecast in 2018.
On December 22nd & 23rd, the Funk Hunters will make their way to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver for the final shows on the tour. Both nights include performances from special guests SkiiTour, Jessu & PYKA. Earlier this year, the duo that rose to fame as DJs on the platorm Twitch performed at Wicked Woods Music Festival in BC. It will also be the first time that Jessu & PYKA have performed on the Funk the Halls tour.
