Fractal’s unique sound blossoms once again with his new EP, Elements. Brady Wiggins, 20, is a producer from Baltimore, the solo member of Fractal, and is signed to BT‘s label, Binary Acoustics. The EP consists of only two tracks, Elements and Cosm, though these two tracks are packed with more than we could ever imagine possible.
Somehow, Fractal has managed to fit in a multitude of genres into the first track, Elements, right off the bat; the intro feels trance-like, but we can confirm that it’s not dubstep. Synths build with a progressive nature, and the beat drops into a techy breakdown with a myriad of different sounds that is best described as Fractal tagged it: ‘revolutionstep’. The second track, Cosm, is a different story altogether. Almost chill-step, but ambient, earthy and more experimental. Someone is whispering in the background as beautiful guitar plucking fades in and out, feeling like the soundtrack to a dream. As not to spoil it completely, we’ll leave it at that.. But just so you know, both tracks can be purchased on Beatport here, and you can listen to the EP below.
