On May 4th 2017, dubstep pioneer Christopher Mercer, better known as Rusko, revealed his battle with gastric lymphoma, aka stomach cancer. Six months, and many chemo treatments later, Rusko announced he had won the fight. After that, it didn’t take long for him to make his return to the scene.

Lucky will be the second festival he’s played since defeating cancer. We can only imagine how much new music he has in store! Since the start of the new year, he has released two singles, and even gave Marshmello and Selena Gomez’s Wolves an old school-house treatment.
