Sundays are a day for brunch with friends, relaxing with mimosas, and stumbling back home for a nap. That’s all still true, but soon you’ll have somewhere to be after your disco nap. Foundation Nightclub in Seattle will begin catering to sinners and saints alike for a different kind of weekend experience. This summer, Foundation will treat us once a month to a new edition of Sunday Mass, kicking off with Sinners and Saints on May 15.
For those who hate mornings or need recovery from the night before, Sunday Mass doesn’t start until noon and goes until 5 p.m. So you’ll have plenty of time to show up and dance yourself to redemption! Each edition will feature a different theme, food from local restaurants, and day drink specials. Sermons/sets will be brought to you by some of Seattle’s finest DJs.
At its inaugural event, Sunday Mass will feature clothing from local vendors such as Margoloh and Midnight Raver Clothing. Best of all for the hungry crowd, all those who purchase a ticket will be entitled to samples from Gordon Biersch’s menu. What we’re trying to say is that this is going to be a fun way to spend your Sunday.
We hope to see you decked out in a costume to support your side at Sinners and Saints, but if not, perhaps another Sunday Mass in the future? Join the initial event page over here, and keep an eye out for more fun theme announcements as we dive into summer.
