Tritonal
Hey! An album we know some stuff about! Duo Tritonal aren’t using any timers or cryptic websites to push their upcoming studio album. Instead, they announced the new work, have already released a single, and have an accompanying tour on the way. That tour kicks off in the Northwest, with stops in Portland and Seattle in late-January.
The album, entitled U & Me, doesn’t have an official release date just yet. But given the tour, we’re hoping for the album to be out shortly after the New Year. Until then, we have one track from the upcoming work out now to enjoy while we wait for the duo to grace us with their unique brand of tunes that Northwest dance music fans love so much.
Madeon
We’re coming up on nearly four years since Madeon last released an album. That work, Adventure, showcased the young Frenchman’s skills and earned him the top spot in U.S. Dance album charts. Not bad for a debut studio album.
Since then, Madeon teamed with Porter Robinson and released Shelter, to much acclaim. After touring with Robinson, he decided to move to the United States in order to finish his long-awaited upcoming album.
It appears as though he’s made the most of the move, as he seems to be releasing clues as to the details for his sophomore album vai the Pixel Empire Podcast. If that’s the case, a 2019 release would make more sense than not.
Regardless of when it comes out, fans will be flocking to new tunes from Madeon, and you can’t count us among the horde.
This year has been a great year for dance music, but we can’t wait for what’s on the way. Let us know which albums you’re looking forward to in 2019! Comment below, on Facebook, or reply on Twitter!
