First Ever EDC Japan Drops Amazing Lineup Sure To Get You Packing

Get ready Headliners! EDM powerhouse Insomniac Events recently announced that it was taking Electric Daisy Carnival overseas to the Land of the Rising Sun! Since EDC’s flagship event in Las Vegas celebrating its 20-year anniversary in 2016, Insomniac has spread the love to other worldly cities and countries over, including Mexico, United Kingdom, Brazil, India, and now Japan. Hailed as one of the largest music festivals in the world, we are happy to see Insomniac’s expansion into other markets and areas for all to enjoy.

In true Electric Daisy fashion, EDC Japan promises to bring people from all over the world under the electric sky for two amazing nights to experience all the festival has to offer. From top performers, art installations, carnival rides, and more, it is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy. In addition, EDC Japan will be bringing back recognizable stages like Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, and the Neon Garden. Kinetic Field in particular will feature the iconic Cathedral Stage that was brought to EDC Vegas in 2014. From Saturday, April 29, through Sunday, April 30th, the inaugural event is taking over the ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Beach Park in Tokyo.

Anticipated by ravers all over the world, the first phase lineup of amazing artists has finally arrived: Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, Seven Lions, and Zedd all will headline the festival. Needless to say this lineup catches a wide array of genres that may get you thinking about grabbing your passport and headed west! Also announced is a brand spanking new Boombox Art Car designed specially for EDC Japan, which will weave throughout the festival with supporting local talent!

Lover of all things electronic. As a previous lead singer her music roots run deep and appreciation for all genres and artists runs high. She can be found dancing and singing along to the likes of Alesso, Hardwell, and Dash Berlin. Most awkward EDM moment? Watching Borgore sing karaoke.
