Figure Helps Us Celebrate Halloween Early With ‘Monster Mania’

If there’s one thing hard bass maestro Figure does well, it’s bringing together classic movie monsters and dubstep. Whether it’s October 31st or the middle of February, every day is Halloween for the Evansville-based producer when it comes to his music. Seattle got the experience first-hand on New Year’s Eve this year, as he brought his dark and dirty brand of bass to Resolution. For his newest track entitled Monster Mania, we get an offering that makes us wish it was already time for some trick-or-treating.

Beginning with an ominous voice tell us how “it all began with a curse,” it moves straight into the build that sounds like it could have been taken from the soundtrack of our favorite horror movie. Proclaiming “Halloween!” right at the drop, we get a healthy dose of electro-dub as it moves at breakneck pace straight into the next build.
