Caribou, or Dan Snaith, has just released his sixth studio album Our Love and we have to admit that while it’s not what we will hear on a main stage at a festival, we find ourselves enjoying it. Caribou has been around for a long time, his first album was produced in 2001 under the stage name of Manitoba. Beloved in some circles but flying much under the radar in others, Caribou has a sound that defies definition.
Feed Me recently got ahold of Back Home, one of the tracks off of Our Love and used his typical wizardry to morph the track. In Feed Me’s hands it becomes a trippy, chill tune that will go perfectly with curling up on a cold fall or winter day with a mug of something warm and a great pair of headphones. In a world that is becoming overpopulated with bigger and bigger sounds this one is a refreshing breath of fresh air, a meal that is satisfying without making you go overboard. Give it a listen below and enjoy.
