In a little over five years time, Ultra Europe has quickly become one of the top electronic dance festivals in the world. If this year’s edition is anything like last month’s UMF Miami (featuring a closing set from Swedish House Mafia) then you won’t want to miss this one!
Ultra’s 2018 European lineup is nearly identical to that of its Miami sibling- which isn’t a bad thing, because it’s loaded! Headliners include Eric Prydz, The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Hardwell, Marshmello, and Armin van Buuren. Throw in the returning RESISTANCE stage, led by the legendary Carl Cox, and you get an added techno/house Euphoria. As the man says: “Oh yes, oh yes!”

Galantis and Alesso, both of whom were conspicuously absent in Miami last month, are joining this Ultra European party. But, what really has fans buzzing: the aforementioned Swedish House Mafia. While another reunion hasn’t been officially announced, Axwell ^ Ingrosso and Steve Angello are performing mainstage sets here, in addition to just-announced Ultra Korea, taking place a month earlier. If Swedish House Mafia play in Korea, they’ll have to do the same in Croatia right? Right?!

Like UMF Miami, Ultra Europe will have plenty of parties before AND after the festival- most will take place on Croatia’s picturesque islands, beaches, and pools. The action kicks off with an opening party on July 5th before concluding on the 11th. With “Ultra Only” beachside camping opportunities available, booking a trip to the beautiful, oceanside town of Split this summer sounds like the ultimate vacation! No wonder Ultra Europe is the continent’s “premier destination festival.”
Tickets and accommodations are still available, with a phase 2 lineup on the horizon.
