??Weeze Airport, Germany
July 20-22
Going head-to-head with Tomorrowland Weekend 1 is Germany’s largest electronic music festival: Parookaville.
One of the more unique festivals in the world, the Weeze Airport in Northwest Germany is transformed into a dance music “city” for five days. Different areas of the city will have their own musical flavor, with a total of ten stages that will cover almost all EDM genres. The fun doesn’t stop there! Attendees will receive a special passport, have access to the city’s very own newspaper (the Parookaville Post), a swimming pool, fun fair, marketplaces, and other goodies. The campground has expanded this year, and will offer new forms of accommodation and utilities- in addition to pre-parties, and a DJ tower that will keep the soundtrack going when the stages shut down for the night! Music festivals are a celebration of community, friendship, and, of course, music- all of which Parookaville exhibits full heartedly.

There are 200 artists on the lineup this year, with headliners like Axwell^Ingrosso, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Yellow Claw, and David Guetta. Trance gets no love here- with Parookaville deferring all things bass to the Bill Factory stage. Performing there on Day 2 are Northwest favorites Excision, NGHTMRE, Jauz, Tchami, and Malaa. Kayzo is scheduled to perform on Day 3 as well, at the Cloud Factory Stage- alongside Alison Wonderland, and Dirtcaps. Seeing bass artists on European lineups is new, and as the genre continues to blow up here in North America, it’s cool to see it starting to catch on overseas. Parookaville offers one of the biggest bass lineups in Europe this Summer!
Tickets, or Visas, as they’re called in Parookaville, are on sale now– with options running slim. For the full experience, add camping!
