Above & Beyond is at it again with their odes to classic movies. We’re All We Need was an ode to the classic movie, ‘Thelma & Louise’ and Blue Sky Action locked onto the similar feels of watching the movie Wall-E. For their latest installment, they have put their own take on the mind-bending film ‘Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind‘ featuring their song, Piece Of Mind.
The video opens up with a lethargic and unresponsive man laying at the foot of his bed. Bursting through the door are a couple of men who immediately set up shop and start to work on this obviously heart broken individual. The Crown him with a piece of technology that begins to scan his brain for memories of his lost lover. After the initial stages of deleting her from his memories, he begins to fight back and try to hold on to her memory.
Its hard to fully capture the emotions that the whole movie was able to bring out of us when we first watched ‘Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind’, but the director of the video has done a great job in our opinion.
