Northwest-based producerDJ Enzo, aka Billy Ives, released his latest mix via Bassdrop Music this weekend. Enzo, who was born in Seattle and raised in Germany, gives older fans and those new to Enzo a 56-minute long expedition into his style of bass music.
Heavily influenced by the UK drum & bass scene growing up, Enzo pushes the boundaries of bass music and has played alongside the likes of Dieselboy, Evol Intent, and more. Enzo recently performed at Paradiso 2014 with fellow Northwest-native Kozmo, aka Nathan Ramos. The duo put on one of the most bass-tastic shows of the two-day festival and followed that up by opening for KJ Sawka at Foundation Nightclub on July 30. You can check out Enzo coming up at the Bassdrop Music Village at Seattle Hempfest. The three-day event will take place from August 15-17 and Enzo will be performing on Friday, August 15 at 12 p.m.

The mix, entitled ‘Shorts & Continuity’, features 22 tracks, including four Enzo originals. One of the original tracks is a new release via Bassdrop Music, entitled Pass That. The track takes the immortal vocals of The Notorious B.I.G. from the track Notorious Thugs and takes them on a bass-filled journey that is quality from start to finish.
