According to Williams, additional campaign funds will be used for travel costs for the crew to be on-site at SASQUATCH!, Paradiso, Watershed, and Dave Matthews Band shows at The Gorge this summer. It will also cover costs for producing interviews with artists, characters important to the telling of The Gorge’s story, and b-roll. After filming, the film will have post-production costs for editing, motion graphics, and other technical expenses, Williams said. He also added that they want to pay stipends for the support teams who’re helping with social media, campaign management, production, and the volunteers.
The immediate response we’ve gotten to the films social media and first teaser was huge. I can’t wait to put out more of our content along the way to show people what we’re collecting. We already have so much incredible footage, and it’s just the beginning. – Davis
The guys are also fans of the rewards they can offer those who are kind enough to donate to the project through Kickstarter. They’re giving away everything from backstage dinners to helicopter rides, and more fantastic Gorge experiences. It’s another way the film, and the venue, are able to connect with the incredible community of music fans who’ve helped create the one-of-a-kind aura that surrounds The Gorge.
