After making its world and Northwest debut in February, “Enormous: The Gorge Story” is coming to Seattle. The hour-long documentary tells the previously untold story of The Gorge Amphitheatre. The Gorge is one of our favorite places on the planet, and is home to several high profile dance music festivals over the years. The secret is apparently out, as three major EDM events are taking place at the iconic venue this summer.
Debuting in Santa Barbara, Calif., before making trips to Spokane and Montana, “Enormous” had a successful initial run of film festival showings. The film won “Best Documentary” at the LA Indie Film Festival 2018, and the “Best Documentary, Audience Award” at the Spokane International Film Festival in 2018.
Now, the Emerald City will be treated to a couple of viewings of their own as part of the 45th Seattle International Film Festival.
The first showing takes places over Memorial Day Weekend, on May 25th at 2:30 p.m. at the SIFF Cinema Uptown. The second showing is on Tuesday, May 28th at 6:30 p.m. at Lincoln Square. Tickets are currently available for both shows here, and cost $15, before fees.
