Yes, we know. You have been so anxiously awaiting for Elevation Radio since last Wednesday, huh? Well good news, we’re back & boy are you guys/gals in for a treat this week! This Wednesday we have toastercookie on the decks, another brilliant Seattle local who has been DJ’ing since his high school days & has always been on the mission to turn those house parties into dance parties. These days toastercookie prefers to play various underground events around Seattle, he said he likes to play events where “I have the ability to play an open format set that can go anywhere I feel like the crowd wants it to go, I don’t like being constrained to one genre or sound”. He also mentioned to us that “I have the most fun DJ’ing when I can always keep my listeners and dancers guessing as to whats going to come next”.
Toastercookie very obviously demonstrates his passion for defying music genre boundaries with this week’s Elevation Radio mix, ranging from Outkast lyrics to grimy glitch hop drops, we can honestly say we have had this mix on repeat ever since toastercookie submitted it to us!
