Los Angeles-based producer/DJ Elephante, aka Tim Wu, has released his funky official remix of Lemaitre’s original Wait as a free download. Premiered on Thissongissick, Elephante’s touch on Wait is another success in a string of consistently quality tunes from the classically trained Harvard grad. He recently remixed EDM mega-track Gold Skies from Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix, as well as DVBBS and Oliver Helden’s deep house hit Gecko. This showcases his creativity and ability to create unique takes on established sounds. You can check these tracks out on Elephante’s Soundcloud where they’re available for free download.
Elephante has successfully remixed a variety of genres, from big room and deep house to progressive and electro, so it isn’t a huge surprise that he was able to handle the sound provided from Norwegian indie electronic band Lemiatre. Lemiatre are currently touring with Giraffage and headliner Porter Robinson as part of the ‘Worlds’ tour.
