Hosted by Insomniac Events, the EDMbiz Conference and Expo will be taking place June 14, 15, and 16 – the week leading up to the highly anticipated EDC Las Vegas. Industry moguls and EDM lovers alike will gather at Ceasars Palace this year, and the full list of speakers have been revealed just in time for us to prepare for our trip down to the strip.
Among the 70+ speakers throughout the 3 days of mingling include some of the biggest names in the electronic music industry. Keynote speakers of the events are CEO of Insomniac Events Pasquale Rotella, artist Armin van Buuren, author Bob Lefsetz, artist Moby, and artist Junkie XL.
The artists that will be included in the conference are some that are no strangers to the PNW. From Jauz to Laidback Luke, Marshmello to Ookay, Paul Oakenfold to Armin van Buuren, and any of Christian Karlsson’s projects – these amazing artists are bound to give great insight on the life of a DJ and what the industry is really like.
Some of the panels that will be featured at the EDMbiz Conference & Expo include a Hackathon for aspiring programmers, and EDMbiz song contest for aspiring artists, and various discussions of important issues that the scene faces today. A few of the panels that are being discussed during the conference are the state of women in the EDM scene, the resurgence of trance, and the future state of electronic music.
Don’t forget about the nightlife opportunities that come with your EDMbiz pass. With your pass, you are invited to clubs all around Las Vegas for the week – without extra charge.
