Many of us are just trying to wrap our heads around the recent Las Vegas shooting that left 58 people dead, and more than 500 injured. And though more information continues to unfold, some people are finding a sense of togetherness in music.
Last week Diplo Twitted and urged DJs and hotel owners to match his donation of $100,000 to Las Vegas Victims’ Fund. A number of DJs matched his donation including, Kaskade, Valentino Khan, Tiesto, Dillon Francis, and Marshmello.
And though you may not be able to donate that amount of money, you may be able to purchase a ticket for an amazing benefit concert put on by Hakkasan Group. The benefit concert will be held at OMNIA nightclub in Vegas on November 7, and will feature Tiesto, Kaskade, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Lil Jon, Cash Cash, NGHTMRE and more.
Tickets start at $30 and all proceeds will go to support the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund. If you are unable to attend the concert, donations can still be made on their GoFundMe page.
Nick McCabe the CEO of Hakkasan Group said “With this event we hope that our company, partners and friends can not only give back to the community, but also show that we’re united, and stand together in the face of this tragedy.”
This way of thinking is more important than ever right now.
